This connects to the REST Countries API v3.1 and gives you five tools for querying world country data. You can search by name, pull details by ISO code, or filter countries by region, language, or currency. Each query returns structured data like capitals, populations, areas, languages, currencies, and flag emojis. It's hosted on Pipeworx's gateway as a streamable HTTP server, so no local setup needed. Useful when you're building features that need country lookups, regional filtering, or currency-to-country mapping without managing your own geopolitical dataset.

Add to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.):
{
"mcpServers": {
"countries": {
"url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/countries/mcp"
}
}
}
Or connect to the full Pipeworx gateway for access to all 673+ data sources:
{
"mcpServers": {
"pipeworx": {
"url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/mcp"
}
}
}
Instead of calling tools directly, you can ask questions in plain English:
ask_pipeworx({ question: "your question about Countries data" })
The gateway picks the right tool and fills the arguments automatically.
