This searches Semantic Scholar's API for published papers from IEEE, ACM, Springer, and other venues. It's designed to complement the arxiv skill by focusing on peer-reviewed, published work with citation counts and venue metadata. You get filtering by publication type (journal vs conference), citation thresholds, year ranges, and fields of study. The skill also fetches single papers by DOI or Semantic Scholar ID, shows TLDR summaries when available, and flags when a paper has an arXiv preprint. Results include venue names, citation counts, and open access PDF links. If you maintain a research wiki in your project, it automatically ingests results there too.
