This formats markdown files by adding frontmatter, generating titles from content, and applying typographic fixes for CJK text. It detects whether your file is plain text or already markdown and asks how aggressive you want to be with formatting (optimize everything, keep structure but fix typography, or just run spacing fixes in place). The script handles the fiddly stuff like adding spaces between Chinese and English text, fixing emphasis punctuation with remark-cjk-friendly, and optionally converting straight quotes to fullwidth. It saves to a new file with `-formatted` appended unless you choose the in-place option. You can set preferences in EXTEND.md at project or user level. Useful when you have drafts that need consistent structure or CJK content that looks awkward without proper spacing.
