This solves the "I set a Calendar event and still missed it" problem by creating both macOS Calendar events with multi-tier sound alarms and paired Reminders as a redundant notification channel. The implementation is unusually opinionated: it enforces sounds longer than 1.4 seconds only (shorter ones get ignored), bans string-based date parsing after multiple locale failures, and mandates six alarm tiers from one day before through event time, each with a different sound so you know which tier fired by ear alone. Built from real failures documented in the comments. If you've ever missed an important meeting despite "setting a reminder," this is the paranoid version of event management.
