Summary
A straightforward wrapper around the IB API that pulls your current portfolio positions into Claude. You ask about your holdings, it runs a Python script that connects to your local TWS or Gateway instance and returns symbols, quantities, costs, and P&L as JSON. The main thing to know is you need the desktop client already running with API access enabled on the right port, 7497 for paper or 7496 for live. It's not doing anything fancy, just bridging the gap so you can query your positions conversationally instead of clicking through the IB interface. Useful if you're already running TWS and want quick portfolio checks without context switching.
