A straightforward wrapper around markitdown that converts URLs, PDFs, Word docs, and other formats into Markdown so Claude can actually read them. The skill handles the uvx invocation and optionally pipes the result through Haiku for a quick summary. The most useful part is that it always saves the full Markdown to a temp file and prints the path, so you can inspect what was extracted before deciding what to do with it. The summarization works best when you tell it what to focus on rather than just asking for a generic summary. It's the kind of utility you need once a day when someone sends you a PDF or you want to quote from a web page without wrestling with selectors.
