This is a Node.js CLI wrapper around Google Trends that pulls related queries, rising searches, and interest data without opening a browser. You'd use it during YouTube research to check if a topic is actually trending (look for BREAKOUT tags or 100+ scores) or to validate content ideas before investing time. It covers YouTube, Web, Images, News, and Shopping with configurable time ranges and category filters. The output formats are practical: table for quick scanning, JSON for piping into other tools, markdown for docs. Honest take: it's solid for Phase 1 research when you need signal on whether a keyword has momentum, but you still need to cross-check with YouTube Studio or VidIQ since Trends data alone doesn't tell you competition levels.
