Takes a video URL and translates it into 12+ languages with automatic lip sync and voice cloning to match the original speaker. You get two modes: full dubbing with lip sync adjustments or faster audio-only translation. It handles multi-speaker videos, preserves custom vocabulary, and can strip background music or enhance speech. Processing happens via polling and can take up to 30 minutes, but you can batch translate to multiple languages in parallel. The API is straightforward if you've got a HeyGen key. Honestly most useful if you're already committed to video localization at scale, since the processing time and API dependency make it overkill for one-off translations.
