Paseo Chat

Gives Claude direct control over Paseo's agent orchestration system: spinning up subagents in worktrees, delegating tasks with specific providers (Claude Opus, Codex GPT-5.4), and managing their lifecycles. The interesting bit is the relationship model. By default, agents you create are your subagents and get archived with you, but you can pass detached mode for true handoffs. It reads orchestration preferences from ~/.paseo/orchestration-preferences.json to respect your provider choices per role (implementation, UI, research, planning, audit). The workflow is async by design since agents routinely run 10-30+ minutes. You create them, move on, and get notified when they finish or need permission. Solid if you're already running Paseo and want Claude to orchestrate multi-agent work instead of doing everything itself.
