This walks you through MITRE's three-phase canvas to frame problems before you start building solutions. It asks structured questions across Look Inward (your assumptions and biases), Look Outward (who experiences the problem and who's been left out), and Reframe (synthesizing into an actionable "How Might We" statement). Best when you suspect you're solving the wrong thing, when a stakeholder request feels off, or when starting discovery on a messy problem. It's deliberately not a solution brainstorm. The equity lens questions about who benefits and who's been overlooked are unusually direct. Expect 10-15 minutes of guided questions with numbered options, following the workshop-facilitation protocol.
