Exa Search

This is a semantic search tool that connects Claude Code to Exa's API for embeddings-based queries and content discovery. You'd reach for it when keyword search isn't cutting it and you need to find conceptually similar content, or when you're researching specific categories like companies or papers. The setup is straightforward: install via npx, add your API key, and use it conversationally. It sits in the same space as Tavily and Firecrawl but leans harder into semantic similarity rather than general web scraping. The docs are light, but the core use case is clear enough if you've hit the limits of traditional search.
