Pulls data from ClinicalTrials.gov's API v2 for patient matching, research analysis, and tracking trials by condition, drug, location, or sponsor. No auth required, handles around 50 requests per minute, returns JSON or CSV. The Python helper scripts make it straightforward to search for recruiting trials, extract eligibility criteria, or pull contact details for specific NCT IDs. Most useful when you're building patient referral systems, doing pharma competitive intelligence, or need to programmatically monitor trial status updates. The API is well-documented and the included examples cover the common workflows like geographic searches and filtering by recruitment status.
