Summary
This lets Claude interact with Alibaba Cloud's DataAnalysisGBI service through their OpenAPI. You get the standard Alibaba workflow: pick your region, find the right API from their docs, call it via SDK or OpenAPI Explorer, then verify. It handles AccessKey auth from environment variables or the shared credentials file at ~/.alibabacloud/credentials, which is cleaner than hardcoding keys. The region handling is smart, it uses ALICLOUD_REGION_ID if set but otherwise picks something reasonable or asks you. It's part of a larger alicloud-skills package from cinience that's passed security audits from three different services. If you're already managing Alibaba Cloud resources with Claude, this extends that capability to their GBI analytics tooling.
