Web Search

This is Brave's primary search endpoint wrapped for Claude. You get ranked results with snippets, URLs, and thumbnails, plus structured data like FAQs, recipes, product info, and schema.org markup when available. The freshness filters (past day, week, month, year) are genuinely useful for time-sensitive queries, and Goggles let you apply custom ranking if you need domain boosting or filtering. Supports pagination, SafeSearch levels, and optional location headers for local results. If you need raw search results to build a UI or extract structured data, this is the one. For RAG pipelines, check out llm-context instead, which pre-extracts content optimized for token budgets.
