Creationix Rx Data Store

RX is a binary encoding format for JSON-like data that lets you query values without parsing the entire document. You encode once, then access nested properties directly on the buffer through a read-only Proxy. The key wins are O(1) array access and O(log n) object lookups on encoded data, plus automatic deduplication that can shrink large manifests dramatically (one example went from 92 MB to 5.1 MB). It's text-safe so you can copy-paste the encoded strings, and it allocates almost nothing compared to JSON.parse. Best fit is when you have large config files or API responses where you only need to read a few specific values at runtime, or when you're shipping data in constrained environments and want both compression and random access without the parsing tax.
