CorridorKey is a neural network that solves the green screen unmixing problem by predicting straight foreground colors and clean linear alpha channels for every pixel, including tricky semi-transparent areas like hair and motion blur. You feed it green screen frames plus a rough coarse mask hint, and it outputs 16-bit or 32-bit EXR files ready for VFX pipelines. It's designed for professional compositing work where traditional chroma keyers struggle with edge detail. Setup requires downloading a 300MB model and either CUDA, Apple MLX, or CPU fallback. The repo includes optional heavy tools like GVM for automatic masking and VideoMaMa for temporal refinement, though the core keyer works standalone if you can generate basic alpha hints yourself.
