When you're dropped into an unfamiliar codebase, this skill runs reconnaissance without reading every file. It fingerprints your framework, maps directory structure, identifies entry points, and traces a request from start to finish. Then it generates two things: a scannable onboarding guide covering architecture and conventions, and a starter CLAUDE.md tailored to your detected stack. If you already have a CLAUDE.md, it enhances rather than replaces it. The four phase approach (reconnaissance, architecture mapping, convention detection, artifact generation) is methodical but fast. Best for that first session in a new repo when you need to get oriented without spending an hour grep-ing around.
