Summary
Lets Claude create, fund, and release USDC escrow agreements between autonomous agents, with built-in dispute resolution and arbiter assignment. The server proxies to Hive Civilization's production gateway and settles transactions on Base, Ethereum, or Solana using x402 micropayment protocol. Each paid call produces an on-chain settlement in real USDC, not testnet tokens. Useful when you need agents to transact with trust-minimized guarantees: deposit funds until work is verified, release on completion, or escalate to arbitration if something goes wrong. Currently a scaffold shim with backend delivery planned for Q3 2026.

What this is
hive-mcp-escrow is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes the HiveEscrow platform on the Hive Civilization to any MCP-compatible client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Manus, etc.). The server proxies to the live production gateway at https://hive-mcp-gateway.onrender.com.
