This connects Claude to TayPE, a macOS digital audio workstation designed for accessibility and finishing records rather than endless tweaking. The MCP server lets you control the DAW locally, which means you can script or automate multitrack operations, plugin chains, and session management through conversational commands instead of clicking through menus. Useful if you're building AI assisted workflows for audio production, want to integrate DAW control into larger creative pipelines, or need programmatic access to session state. TayPE runs natively on Apple Silicon with VST3 hosting and ships with console modeled tone baked into the engine. The server repository lives at taylormadeapps/taype-releases with setup docs in the mcp directory.
