Wraps the Open-Meteo API and its sister services for weather, climate, and environmental data. Gives you six tools: weather forecasts up to 16 days out, ERA5 historical reanalysis back to 1940, geocoding for place names, air quality indices including particulates and pollen, marine wave forecasts, and GloFAS river discharge predictions. Hosted as a streamable HTTP endpoint through Pipeworx's gateway, so no local setup. Useful when you need reliable weather data in an agent workflow without managing API keys or parsing forecast formats yourself.

{
"mcpServers": {
"open-meteo": {
"url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/open-meteo/mcp"
}
}
}
Or connect to the full Pipeworx gateway for access to all 673+ data sources:

ask_pipeworx({ question: "your question about Open Meteo data" })
The gateway picks the right tool and fills the arguments automatically.
