This connects Claude to Blockchair's multi-chain block explorer API, covering Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Monero, and a dozen other chains. You get five tools: pull chain-wide stats, query blocks by hash or height, look up transaction details, check address balances with recent activity, and inspect node software status. It runs through Pipeworx's gateway with no API key required on the free tier. Useful when you need to inspect on-chain data across multiple blockchains without managing separate explorer APIs or authentication. The gateway also supports plain English queries through ask_pipeworx if you want to skip manual tool calls.

{
"mcpServers": {
"blockchair": {
"url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/blockchair/mcp"
}
}
}
Or connect to the full Pipeworx gateway for access to all 673+ data sources:
{
"mcpServers": {
"pipeworx": {
"url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/mcp"
}
}
}
Instead of calling tools directly, you can ask questions in plain English:
ask_pipeworx({ question: "your question about Blockchair data" })
The gateway picks the right tool and fills the arguments automatically.
